چکیده
Abstract Some studies have reported that activated ribosomes are positively associated with malignant tumors, especially in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). The RNA-binding protein PNO1 is a critical ribosome rarely human tumors. This study aimed to explore the molecular mechanisms of HCC. Using 150 formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded samples 8 fresh samples, we found high expression HCC tumor tissues through Western blotting RT-PCR. Moreover, higher was poor prognosis patients. In vitro vivo experiments indicated overexpression promoted proliferation depressed apoptosis cells. High also increased autophagy underlying were examined by RNA-seq analysis series functional experiments. Results showed progression MAPK signaling pathway. Therefore, overexpressed HCC, autophagy, inhibited cells

Nanocurcumin-Mediated Down-Regulation of Telomerase Via Stimulating TGFβ1 Signaling Pathway in Hepatocellular Carcinoma Cells
Background: Curcumin, extracted from turmeric, represents enormous potential to serve as an anticancer agent. Telomerase is viewed as a prominent molecular target of curcumin, and transforming growth factor-β1 (TGFβ1) has proven to be a major inhibitory signaling pathway for telomerase activity. In the current study, we aimed to explore suppressive effects of nanocurcumin on telomeras...
متن کاملVitexin suppresses autophagy to induce apoptosis in hepatocellular carcinoma via activation of the JNK signaling pathway
Vitexin, a flavonoids compound, is known to exhibit broad anti-oxidative, anti-inflammatory, analgesic, and antitumor activity in many cancer xenograft models and cell lines. The purpose of this study was to investigate the antitumor effects and underlying mechanisms of vitexin on hepatocellular carcinoma. In this study, we found that vitexin suppressed the viability of HCC cell lines (SK-Hep1 ...
متن کاملAngiopoietin-like protein 8 (betatrophin) may inhibit hepatocellular carcinoma through suppressing of the Wnt signaling pathway
Objective(s): Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is one of the leading fatal neoplasms and the most common primary liver malignancy worldwide. Peptide hormone ANGPTL8 (betatrophin) may act as an important regulator in HCC development through the Wnt/β-catenin pathway. We aimed to evaluate the effects of recombinant ANGPTL8 on Wnt/β-catenin signaling in human liver carcinom...
متن کاملNotch1 regulates the JNK signaling pathway and increases apoptosis in hepatocellular carcinoma
Notch1-induced pathways are involved in cell growth, apoptosis, motility, and invasion in many cancers. In the present study, the expression of Notch1 and NICD1 was detected in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) tissues using in-vitro assays. And then, we explored cell biology and signaling pathways using Notch1 siRNA or plasmids. Here, the expression of Notch1 and NICD1 was significantly decreased...
متن کاملCurcumin suppresses proliferation and induces apoptosis of human hepatocellular carcinoma cells via the wnt signaling pathway.
Curcumin from the rhizome of Curcuma longa (zingiberaceae) has been reported to be a chemopreventive agent that affects cell proliferation by arresting the cell cycle in G2 and modulating the wnt signaling pathway. We found that curcumin inhibits proliferation and induces apoptosis of human hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) cells in a concentration-dependent manner. We identified that curcumin int...
